In the tastings dedicated to Barbaresco DOCG of June 2019, the Barbaresco DOCG Pajorè 2016 of the Rizzi Winery obtained a score of 95/100 with the following motivation:

“A very “masculine” Barbaresco for this version produced by Rizzi, which rather shows surprising and very pleasant nuances of sweetness on the nose: rhubarb, licorice, but also violet and wild strawberries, with a slight smoked note arising as tertiary. The mouthfeel is properly guided by very voluptuous tannins which also in this case are captivating but never excessive. A very long-lasting persistence”
